Eventually, most people give up and swap their mikuni for a Kehin or Lectron carb. But for those that stick with the mikuni this jetting kit makes it easier to get it right and keep it right.

Mikuni Jet Kit: Fine-Tuning Your Carb for Precision Riding

Mikuni main jets control the amount of fuel pulled from the float bowl into the venturi. A larger main jet allows more air to flow through the venturi and a lower jet lets less air flow. Dynojet adjusts the main jet size to achieve a flat fuel delivery curve from sea level to 12,000 ft.

These kits consist of a set of proprietary needles, a spare needle clip, and detailed instructions with a jetting chart that uses temperature, altitude and riding style to select the proper main jet size. The kit also includes a replacement float needle that is slightly taller than stock to compensate for the higher jet setting. It also includes a washer to raise the needle a half-clip position, and a selection of main jets that are bike and year specific.
